Chair of PoP Moves Francophonie

PoP MOVES Francophonie was created in 2018 as one of the nodes of the PoP MOVES international network. It was launched in December 2018 at the University Paris Nanterre, where the francophone node hosted the annual PoP MOVES conference. Our aim is to connect francophone scholars working on popular dance and performance, and to create meaningful bridges and encounters between francophone and non-francophone research traditions and academic networks. Additionally, through regular events, we intent to support students pursuing research across the field of the popular, and to create opportunities for mutually stimulating exchanges between researchers and popular dancers/performers.
The PoP MOVES Francophonie Committee is currently being built up and aims to meet three times a year to co-ordinate our activities. If you are interested in joining the committee, please contact francophonenode@popmoves.com.
